LATEST OLDER CONTACT ME DIARYLAND

2003-09-19 - 2:47 a.m. Aaron Brown stood in the doorway. Ron and Steve, his lackeys, flanking him. A bump had visibly grown on the side of his head where Martin hit him. He seethed with rage and confusion. This wasn't going to be good. "Where is he?" He spoke slow and steady through a clenched jaw. "If you're looking for Martin you're at the wrong end of town. He's at the hospital being checked out. Last I heard he had three bruised ribs, nice job there Aaron." I walked around the couch to look him in the eye. I don't think his eyes were even focused at that point, hell I doubt he could focus if he tried. Had to be one hell of a concussion from a shot like that. "Listen, I'll tell him you stopped by when or if he gets home. Is that all right with you?" I put my hand on his shoulder, attempting to reassure him. "Not good enough. I need to beat up something and right now all I see is you." This was turning out to be a very bad day. He grabbed my forearm and twisted causing me to fall forward and to one knee. He quickly switched into a headlock and dragged me outside. At least he didn't want to bust up my house. I nearly fell down the stairs twice; hard to do with only six of them. When we got to the yard he let me out of the headlock and shoved me away. "Listen Aaron, you don't want to fight me. You and I don't have any beef, hell you and Martin didn't have any beef. Why the hell are you doing this?" I stepped away from him and we began circling each other. "He got in my way. I saw what I wanted and went after it, he tried to stop me from getting it, NO ONE STOPS ME!" As he yelled he lunged at me. I sidestepped him and landed a stiff kick to the back of his knee, he stuttered on that leg, but didn't fall. Nikki and Amy came out onto the porch right after us. I could here Amy talking to Nikki, but I couldn't make out the exact words. Ron and Steve were standing on either side of the stairs; far enough to let us fight, but still within bum-rushing distance. Aaron made another grab at me, again I spun away from him, and landed a shot on his jaw. It didn't seem to faze him. We continued dancing around each other, feigning and pulling back. "What the hell is wrong with you Aaron? You were never like this before, you never started a fight without reason." Apparently bringing up the past, even the general past, was not a good idea. He roared like some kind of animal and jumped at me, not a lunge but a full fledged leap. He caught me off guard and we fell to the ground with me being squished under his weight. He sat on my chest and reared back with his right fist. As we fell to the ground Amy jumped the railing and threw herself at us. His fist was coming down at me and Amy hit him in the chest, full force. He lost his balance and the both fell to my left. I popped back up and grabbed Amy's arm, pulling off of Aaron. He shook his head violently then stood back up. We both began backing away from him then we heard the muffled yells coming from behind us. Steve had grabbed Nikki and was holding her with a butterfly knife against her throat. "We do this alone or the girl isn't quite so pretty anymore." "Fine, Amy go back on the porch. I'll take care of this." She put her hand on my shoulder and walked back to the porch. She tried to pry Nikki from Steve's arms, but he resisted. Ron came up behind her and tried to grab her shoulder. She spun under his arm and flipped him onto his back. She stomped on his bicep as she stepped back up to Steve. He still had the knife at Nikki's throat. She kept her eyes on Nikki's as she approached the intertwined bodies. At just the right moment Amy punched Steve's arm just above the elbow causing him to straighten the arm he had around Nikki's throat and fall forward. Nikki grabbed his arm and thrust her hip into his chest, bringing him to the ground in front of her. She picked up his knife and flipped it around in her hand, collapsing it, and stowed it in a pocket. While that happened Aaron tried rushing me a few more times only to be met with either a punch to the jaw or a kick to the leg. Neither of which stopped or slowed him down. He was yelling at me the entire time, something about no one stopping him and doing this for his master. Proof to me that Aaron wasn't the brains of any operation, that's reassuring. With his next yell or scream or whatever you want to call it anymore I ducked low and threw my shoulder into him. He rolled over my back and landed on his feet; not what I was expecting. "Cyrus said you would be a bit of a challenge, but NO ONE STOPS ME!!" He moved towards me, arms leading, I had had enough of it at this point. I let him get his arms around me, but he had grabbed me low. When he straightened up I was off the ground and just a little above eye level with him. I shook my head at him, he looked confused, and then I head butt him. Not once, not twice, but three times; I probably broke his nose. He didn't let go of me, I was counting on this. I drew back my right leg and kicked the inside of his left thigh; not in the balls, but that oh-so-sensitive area just next to them. I kicked him two more times before he dropped me. I landed awkwardly and started to fall back, he came towards me at the same time so I brought a knee up into his jaw. He head shot back taking the rest of him with it. We both landed flat on our backs, the difference being I was still conscious. I rolled onto my side and screamed at Ron and Steve, "Get him back into your car and get out of here." They quickly complied. Amy came down the steps and squatted next to me. "So, you can still fight, good to know." She helped me back to my feet and into the house. I fell onto the couch with an audible groan. I looked up at Nikki who was standing behind the couch looking down at me. "I sure can make an impression, can't I?" She smiled back down and me and leaned against the back of the couch. We sat there staring at each other while Amy was outside yelling at Steve and Ron as they loaded Aaron into their car. I opened my mouth to try and say something to break the mood, but Nikki leaned in and kissed me. Our lips parted slightly and our tongues found their way to each other. She slid over the top of the couch lay on top of me. My hands holding her body to mine as hers explored the tangles of my hair and contours of my face. She let out a gentle moan as one of my hands made it's way under the back of her shirt. Just as quickly as this moment had started it ended. She pulled my hand away from her and pulled away from me. She sat up and stared at me. Confusion obvious on my face she just looked at me, no words escaped her lips. I sat up next to her. I took her face in my hands and kissed her again. She quickly pulled back, a strange expression on her face. "I'm sorry Seven, I just can't. I want to, but I can't." Then she got up and ran out of the house. I got up to follow her, but Amy stopped me on the porch. "Just let her go for now. She'll be back, don't worry." And we both walked back into the house.
