2004-03-02 - 5:28 p.m. Nikki was trembling with the envelope in her hand; there was something wrong with this whole situation. "I'm not feeling to well. Maybe we should go outside and get some air." We walked back outside and I sat down next to the car. Nikki walked over and sat down next to me; still flipping the envelope over and over in her hands. We looked at each other and smiled that nervous smile you give people when you're at a total loss for words. Then I turned back to staring at my shoes. After a few moments the sound of paper tearing caught my attention. I quickly turned my head and looked at Nikki's hands; the envelope was open and she was pulling out a letter. "I opened it, you read it." She shoved the letter into my hands. I sat there, hands shaking, and stared at it for a few heartbeats. Then I just jumped in, opened it up, and read it. Parker's familiar handwriting lined every inch of the pages.Seven, If you're reading this then you came looking for me. Which in and of itself wasn't that bad of an idea. There has been some really strange shit going down out here in Redstone lately, which hopefully you already know. But if you don't I'll recap for you. A few months ago this strange cult kind of surfaced. It was a completely strange thing, one day there was nothing going on here and the next there were people with strange tattoos talking to kids everywhere like they were on some sort of recruitment drive. After a few weeks people started disappearing, not just the kids; everyone and anyone. I'll take that back, not anyone, just those with some kind of magical ability. That was just at first. Again some times passes, then other people start disappearing. The martial arts school that I go to, was one of the first to notice it. The advanced classes were empty within two days, the only thing that anyone else remembered was that the people who were missing were seen talking to people with those weird tattoos. I didn't know what was going on until I ran into Mary. We talked for a few minutes and people that passed kept calling her Typhoid and asking about Cyrus. Cyrus had replaced you as bassist in 'Powerfly' and Mary had hooked up with him; that much I knew. Cyrus had always been into some weird shit, but Mary told me that he had hooked up with some really strange people in this cult thing and he kind of ended up taking over in Redstone. That in and of itself makes me worried that this is happening elsewhere. She told me what was going on, that people from the cult were taking the magic users, draining them of their ability, and releasing them later. The fighters, like from the martial arts school, were being retrained or something. I'm not really sure on that. What I do know is that a few of these cultists have been following me for a few days now. I'm scared they're going to do something to me. So I'm writing down what information that I do have, because I know that you'll come looking for me eventually. The Priest said that he will find you when you need him, too. I hadn't seen him for weeks then he shows up at my apartment, tells me that, and disappears. So just be careful and good luck. With any hope I'll see you soon. Parker I looked over the other pages, they were covered in names and addresses, lines connecting them all, pointing back to Cyrus and this Church of the Blue Moon. My stomach had been quaking the whole time I was reading it; when I finished it I crawled over to the grass next to the building and brought up lunch. Nikki just kind of appeared behind me, holding my shoulders to steady me. I fell back and leaned against the car again, my head in my hands, she knelt in front of me and just waited. "Well, now what do we do?" She asked as I looked up. "We go back to Steph's and wait for Amy's call. While we're waiting we try to figure out what all of this means." I shook the papers and tried to stand up, but fell back down. Nikki put her arm under mine and helped me back into the car, I felt way too weak for this to be nothing, something bad was happening.
