2004-04-13 - 1:53 p.m. There was a deep blue SUV following us for part of our trip across town to Amy's apartment. When we turned a corner I noticed that it had the same cross and wing design on the side as the buildings with the crowds did. It was nearly sunset when we made it to Amy's apartment; it took much longer than it should have since Nikki took it upon herself to try and lose the SUV. The sun was setting and all of my scars were itching; this was beginning to be a pain in the ass. We pulled into the parking lot behind the building and parked next to Amy's motorcycle, as we were getting out of the car the blue SUV drove by and I caught a glimpse of the guy driving; one of the guys straight out of my dream. That's a creepy feeling. "So, how do what get into the damned building? Everything gets locked up at sunset anymore; no entrance without a key." I dug into my backpack's front pocket and pulled out a chain with about fifteen keys hanging in various places. " We use a key, silly." "Now I assume there is an explanation as to why you have all of those keys." "I need them all. One is for Parker's apartment, one for Amy's, two for my house, two are for the garage, two for Natalie's car, three for the bookstore, one for Rev. Rollins' house, and these three I don't know what they're for anymore." I opened the door to Amy's building and ushered the other two inside. p> I led the way up to Amy's apartment on the third floor. Anyone who saw us simple ignored us and let us pass without incident. When we got to here door I was about to just open it up, but thought better and actually knocked. It took her a few minutes to answer the door; I swear I heard her moving things around like she was actually cleaning, a strange concept for her. She opened the door and told Nikki and Steph to go into the living room; Amy and I went into the kitchen. "What's with Steph? How did she get involved with this?" "Steph is Nikki's friend; her contact in Redstone. She seems to have a grasp on the situation at hand and seems to be willing to help. At this point it seems like we'll be going up against an army of these cultists or whatever they are, we're going to need all the help we can get." "What about the letter from Parker? What kind of information did that give?" "A lot of useful information. The cult is called 'The Church of the Blue Moon' and it's not good. From what was in the letter it sounded like this was happening everywhere, not just here; which scares the shit out of me. It has some addresses for meeting places and the names of a few of his contacts in the cult. Oh, and The Priest said we would find him when we needed him." "You saw The Priest?" Amy seemed shocked and Steph turned to look at us at the mention of his name. "No, he told Parker that and Parker put it in the letter." Steph got up and came into the living room. "How do you know The Priest?" "Everyone in Redstone knows The Priest." I said plainly. "No, everyone in Redstone knows of The Priest or has seen him a few times. Very few people know The Priest." "I met him back when I lived in Redstone, before the incident. I let him sleep on our couch when it was too cold and I gave him food a couple times a week. We talked about stuff, he was... he is a good man."
